I was born in Montréal and moved to Brampton, Ontario in 1982. In 2001, my husband and I drove through Milton, fell in love with the town, and bought our first home here. Since then, we’ve settled in Dorset Park and raised our three amazing children in this community we’re proud to call home.

For over 25 years, I have been working with and advocating for families. I am a certified Full-Spectrum Doula and Lamaze Childbirth Educator, supporting parents through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of parenthood. Through the Halton Breastfeeding Connection, I have helped new parents navigate those challenging first days and weeks, offering both physical and emotional support when they need it most.

My work has always been rooted in care, compassion, and advocacy. Whether I’m supporting someone one-on-one or speaking up for the rights of others, my goal is the same: to help improve the lives of people in my community. At Pridefest and Pride in the Park, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and supporting so many diverse families from Halton and beyond, and those experiences have deepened my commitment to inclusion and equality.

This is my first time running as a candidate in an election, but it’s not my first time being involved in the democratic process. I have worked with Elections Ontario and Elections Canada at the polls and in returning offices, and in the most recent federal election I worked during the recount. Seeing that process up close was powerful—it showed me, very clearly, that every single vote truly matters. Watching how elections are organized and run has been both amazing and humbling.

Over the years, I’ve watched Milton grow and change, and I’ve gotten to know many of the wonderful people who live here. I hear every day from residents who are worried about increasing traffic, congestion, and the pace of rapid growth in our community. Like them, I believe we need thoughtful planning that protects our quality of life, keeps our streets safe, and ensures that growth is matched with the services, infrastructure, and green spaces families rely on.

Those conversations have inspired me to take the next step and run for Town Councillor. I want to bring my lifelong commitment to care, advocacy, and community to the council table—listening to residents, standing up for families, and working hard to make sure Milton remains a place where everyone can thrive as we grow.
